Living with the Times, A Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Toolkit for Older Adults During the COVID-19 Pandemic, by IASC

A new mental health and psychosocial support toolkit for older adults during the COVID-19 pandemic has been developed by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee Reference Group on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings (IASC).

The toolkit was developed through a participatory process involving 199 older adults from 51 countries and involved experts from different disciplines, including dementia, mental health support in humanitarian settings, ageing and disability.

It includes posters with key messages for older adults and for facilitators of mental health, aiming to engage older adults in conversations and activities. These posters require minimal reading skills and are cultural diverse.

The full toolkit is available here.
