The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has published a new report on the Impact of COVID-19 in Long-Term Care (LTC), policy responses and challenges.

Building on questionnaires completed by country representatives and expert interviews, as well as data from the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) surveys, the report analyses the degree of preparedness for a pandemic in LTC, provides an overview of the key measures adopted and how these changed over time. Finally, it assess workforce, organisation and coordination challenges of LTC systems.
