How did older adults experience second wave lockdowns in Australia?

Joyce Siette and colleagues carried out a national survey to explore the impact of the COVID-19 second-wave lockdowns on older adults’ mental wellbeing, health-seeking behaviours and social outcomes across Australia.

The study found that, overall, higher wellbeing was associated independently with residence in the state of Victoria, being male, having better health status, and higher social networks.
