SCADR Webinar announcement: COVID-19 and Care Homes. Advances in Administrative Data Research during the pandemic (Scotland)

Hosted by the Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research (SCADR), this online seminar will focus on the latest research being undertaken to better understand Scotland’s care home population during the pandemic.

COVID-19 has had far-ranging impacts on society, particularly within the care home population, where almost half of all Scottish deaths involving the disease occurred.

This seminar will examine emerging administrative data research in Scotland on the effect of the pandemic on care homes and the innovative methods being developed to help better identify and understand this population, including showcasing the potential of using unique property reference numbers (UPRN).

Our expert panel will also discuss Scotland’s recent announcement to review adult social care and contribute to wider debate about data quality and collection in the care sector.
