The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) has issued a rapid risk assessment, as increasing reports of COVID-19 outbreaks in LTCFs are being reported in all countries in the EU/EEA and the UK, both in national reports and in the media.
The report reviews the latest available data from EU/EEA countries and sets out options for response in the areas of management of facilities, testing, prevention and control of SARS-CoV-2 transmission and vaccination.
