Experience of self-isolation by people with dementia and their carers (BBC, UK)

The BBC provides a brief overview of how people with dementia and their carers deal with self-isolation.

Respondents have reported to have reduced the frequency of watching the news to reduce anxiety, to engage in gardening and other activities around the house or to go on long walks to maintain active and to keep singing favourite tunes. In addition, carers reported support from the Alzheimer’s Society delivered online or via the phone.
